My thoughts on the remake of my favorite childhood video game

Like many people born in 1995, often considered the cusp year of the murky divide between Millennials and Gen Z, I watched SpongeBob SquarePants religiously growing up. I would quote the show loudly to other kids at school. At that age, that was more than enough to foster genuine friendships.
When I was seven, my dad came home one day with a Nintendo GameCube and a copy of SpongeBob SquarePants: Battle for Bikini Bottom (BfBB). He figured that since my little siblings and I adored the show, we’d seize the chance to play a video game based on it.
